Palms is not fucking around to put it plainly. They’ve spent a whopping $690 million for its renovations (the most expensive renovation ever in Las Vegas history) and that includes the glorious KAOS.
The dayclub and nightclub is home to the highest number of pools in any resort in North America. It boasts massive prime real estate of dayclub square feet at 73,000 and 29,000 square feet for its nightclub.
On top of that, Palms somehow convinced the legendary Damien Hirst (the iconic English artist who rose to fame in the art scene in the UK during the 1990s) to create a 60-foot bronze sculpture entitled “Demon with Bowl”…for a pool. Impressive.
KAOS at Palms Resort Casino is also home to Hirst’s 23-foot tall sculpture “The Warrior and the Bear” and the largest LED wall in Las Vegas. It’s a 270 foot tall screen that runs the length of the eastern exterior of PALMS’ Ivory Tower facing the strip.
Today, Thursday, April 4, is the first look of KAOS ahead of the KAOS Grand Opening Weekend with a set by the world-famous EDM artist Marshmello who is among the 18 and counting resident artists at Palms.
Amongst those 18 and counting residents artists are Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Breathe Carolina, Brooks, Cardi B, Cheat Codes, Deadmau5, DJ Politik, Eric Prydz, G-EAZY, J. Balvin, Jauz, Kaskade, Marshmello, Ozuna, Skrillex, Slushii, Southside, and Vice.
