Death is a topic of conversation we love to avoid. It is not exactly small talk, but that’s a good thing because having conversations that matter are much more valuable to us during this life journey. It’s part of the human experience. Death is an inevitable promise. Let’s learn what we can from it and help those experiencing it.

Nathan Adelson Hospice is leading that conversation because their entire mission is to bring awareness and fundraise to provide end-of-life care to terminally ill patients.

“Our annual fashion show is an exceptional way for us to raise critical funds needed for our programs that help our patients and their loved ones in southern Nevada,” said Nathan Adelson Hospice President & CEO Karen Rubel.

Nathan Adelson Hospice is the oldest, largest and only non-profit hospice in Southern Nevada, caring for an average of 400 hospice and palliative care patients daily since 1978. Their annual Fashion Presentation and Luncheon is an effort to openly discuss death to create awareness for terminally ill patients in need of assistance.

This year, the fashion brand Chloé, signed on to help carry out this mission at their luncheon. The event serves as a major fundraiser for the hospice’s uncompensated care program. Last year, Nathan Adelson Hospice provided more than $2.8 million in uncompensated care, programs and services to individuals throughout southern Nevada.

“We are tremendously grateful for everyone who supports A Flair for Care. That generosity shows off both their flair and their care during this remarkable event,” said Rubel.
