Mexican Excellence: The First-Ever Mexican All-Star Culinary Team To Conquer Las Vegas
I’m shivering! Andreas at Encore will be replaced by none other than Mexican excellence come the first quarter of 2020.
The new team behind the contemporary Mexican restaurant are the James Beard Award-Winning chef Daniela Soto-Innes, acclaimed fine-dining chef and book author Enrique Olvera, and first-timer groundbreaking restaurateur Santiago Perez. All of which are part of the same team behind the most coveted fine-dine Mexican restaurant in Manhattan, Cosme.
“The award-winning team will create a highly anticipated restaurant that combines authentic Mexican flavors, exceptional service and a high-energy social atmosphere, making it the perfect addition to Wynn’s extensive dining portfolio,” says Wynn Las Vegas.
This Mexican culinary all-star team are the first renowned Mexican chefs to conquer the Las Vegas Strip with an exclusive partnership to develop the currently unnamed restaurant with Wynn Las Vegas.
“We’re thrilled to join Las Vegas, a vibrant and exciting city that knows the art of a great party,” said Olvera.
Aside from winning the James-Beard Award for Rising Star of the Year in 2016, the Mexico-born Chef Soto-Innes was named the World’s Best Female Chef at the World’s 50 Best Restaurant Awards in 2019.
Olvera is an internationally lauded chef and owner of the celebrated fine dining restaurant Pujol in Mexico City and author of cookbooks including the best-selling Tu Casa Mi Casa.
Perez is a former bank investor turned restaurateur.
“Our goal is to create a restaurant that embraces the showmanship of the city not just with celebratory food, but also in the design and ambiance,” said Olvera.
