Peyote, the retro-inspired patio and restaurant located at 1028 Fremont St and managed by Corner Bar Management, is set to unveil an alluring monthly culinary rendezvous, The Roast, scheduled for Sunday, September 17.

Personally curated and crafted by Executive Chef Daniel Arias, this enchanting Sunday series draws inspiration from idyllic Baja California coastal nights. Featuring a lavish cocktail hour with opulent spritz & aperitivo stations. Followed by a family-style communal dinner, accompanied by desserts infused with mezcal and Montenegro, including sounds from a live DJ. Chef Arias will craft a tailored menu for each installment, inviting guests to embark on a gastronomic odyssey centered around live-fire cuisine.

In partnership with Gallo Wine and Spirits and the Johnson Brothers, The Roast’s upcoming edition is slated for Sunday, September 17, running from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Excitingly, more editions are on the horizon, with further announcements to follow. Securing your seat at The Roast comes at a cost of $85 per person, and reservations will be open starting Friday, August 18.

Chef Daniel Arias, hailing from the border town of Calexico where his family helmed a renowned eatery, developed an affinity for the sizzle and aroma of freshly grilled seafood from the Gulf of Mexico. A culinary journey that commenced at the age of 17 led him to Las Vegas, where he honed his culinary prowess. This globetrotting expedition granted him insights into diverse techniques and flavors, enriching his tenure at esteemed establishments like é by Jose Andrés. In 2020, Chef Daniel’s collaboration with La Mona Rosa Executive Chef Isidro Marquez-Castillo birthed the acclaimed Mexican seafood pop-up, The Black Pearl. His remarkable journey culminated at Peyote, where his inventive and seasonal menus continue to pay homage to the rich tapestry of Latin American tastes.
