This Is How Marie Antoinette Would Spend Her Birthday In Las Vegas

Every once in awhile I think about Marie Antoinette flirting with the idea of resurrecting herself back from the dead to be a part of the world she obviously was meant to thrive in. She’d completely fit right in with our self-obsessed culture.

She’d have more followers than Selena Gomez. She’d be giving us major FOMO on  Instagram Stories about her exclusive brunch at her versaille palace with her new best friend RuPaul. She would constantly share closet mirror selfies with her laced wigs lined up in the back that would even have Kylie Jenner ghost following her. Or, maybe she’d be a travel influencer documenting how she spent $450,000 ( a night) on an over-the-top luxury travel experience that her man, King Louis XVI, would’ve probably forbade her from splurging on.

You know the one. The one that’s called Want The World and begins with arriving to Las Vegas on a private jet no less where not a horse carriage (sorry Marie) but a Maybach is waiting for her arrival to take her to the 6,500 penthouse suite at The Venetian. It comes with a butler and she can indulge on the fully stocked bar inside that the rest of us are always too afraid to even breath around.

The way Marie Antoinette spent the money of France, there’s no doubt she would be the first one calling The Venetian for a reservation. Especially when the Want The Work luxury travel experience is promising ones’ own monogrammed silky red pajamas that you can easily pair with these Charles David dancing heels for gold-flecked cocktails at The Dorsey.

And the next day when she’s experiencing the most expensive hangover, she can detox the 24k gold running through her veins with the resort’s signature armillary sphere shrunken to edible size made of handcrafted artisan chocolate topped with a cake adorned with a 2.5 total carat ruby and diamond necklace and matching 2.47 carat Burma ruby and diamond ring from Bellusso Jewelers.

All of this is being fed to her of course because she’d be too busy posting to IG about being pampered with the in-suite Champagne pedicure and Diamond massage from Canyon Ranch Spa + Fitness. And THEN, she can jump back into those same personalized silky monogrammed pajamas and roll out of her plush penthouse couch (I hate her already) to the 24k Brunch and Baubles aka gold-dusted chicken n’ waffles and Cristal mimosas, however, with these Prada mules instead.

At night when her stomach is grumbling for more tasty lavish bites and libations, she’d call-up her good friend Chef Lorena Garcia of Chica for a private in-suite four-course dinner. For dessert, she would dive into the Red Velvet Cake Batter CrazyShake by Black Tap with a 5.5 carat diamond bracelet from Bellusso Jewelers that she’d instantly wear for her upcoming complimentary two hour salsa lessons.

She’d wash it down with the magnum bottle of Moet Champagne bedazzled in Swarovski red crystals. Oh, and that random guy that has been taking pictures of her this whole time is not her hot indie Instagram photographer boyfriend. It’s actually her own personal paparazzi for the weekend that also comes with the Want The World experience.

I’d say Marie Antoinette would fit right in. There are no payment plans like EDC Las Vegas usually offers (sorry Susan), but if you’re even a tad bit interested in living like a modern day Marie Antoinette, the a la carte options “Get The World” is pretty doable. Like the 24k Brunch & Bubbles at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar for only $800 for two or the Chica Tequila Masterclass for only $150.
