George Lopez’s Chingon Kitchen Set To Open At The STRAT Hotel Casino & Skypod

Comic legend George Lopez is bringing the first George Lopez’s Chingon Kitchen to Nevada. Located at The STRAT Hotel Casino & Skypod, the restaurant is set to open in late 2022. Chingon Kitchen will offer a vast selection of tequilas alongside beer from George Lopez Brewing Company

“George Lopez and the team at Chingon Kitchen can’t wait to bring our So Cal-style Mexican cuisine, cocktails and beers to the Strip,” said Michael Zislis, co-founder of George Lopez’s Chingon Kitchen. “Were going to bring the heat to The STRAT.”

Tres Taquitos crafted with beef machaca, queso fresco, crema and salsa Mexicana served with Spanish rice and black beans. 

With vibrant Chicano art throughout the restaurant sets the mood for street corn, queso, tacos, burritos, and more. Including a tortilla selections of flour, corn and cauliflower with fillings such as slow-cooked carnitas, carne asada, citrus-marinated chicken and soyrizo. Signature cocktails will include the Chihuahua Margarita, Chingon’s famous frozen Impala Margarita topped off with Li’l Mexi Mexican lager from George Lopez Brewing Company.

Two Everything Tacos, made on corn tortillas with a choice of carnitas, carne asada, citrus marinated chicken or Soyrizo with lettuce, cheese, crema, guacamole, cilantro and pico de gallo, served with Spanish rice and black beans.“There’s nothing like authentic Mexican food to fuel the party and George Lopez’s Chingon Kitchen will be serving up freshly-made dishes our guests are going to love,” said Stephen Thayer, vice president and general manager of The STRAT.
