These Vegas Apartments Are Reinventing The Way Humans Live & It’s Freakishly Good

It was favorite pastime as a child. Going to open-houses with our parents on the weekends that is. Placing us in spaces that made it feel like we had already closed on the house even if we weren’t financially secured to do so, or remotely talking to realtors yet, was a powerful lesson in many ways. We were all addicted to dreaming of what could be ours. Even after my parents bought their first house, we’d all open the doors to my mom’s green Plymouth on a Saturday morning and drive to the latest new open house.

To place yourself around people you want to become and spaces and things you want to own. It’s a powerful vibration because you’re aligning yourself to your intention and acting as if you’re already in possession of those things and qualities.

I guess it makes sense to think of all places, Las Vegas would be the one to charge forward in innovation, functionality, design, and the people who would lead us there.

We Nevadans, after all, have always been an eco-conscious state. Rocks are favored over grass to conserve our lakes. I mean, have you ever seen “Bio-Dome” starring the ingenious Pauly Shore and Stephen Baldwin?

Tim Deters, president and CEO of TRU Development, is a far cry from the actors’ characters Bud and Doyle. This visionary and charismatic developer was anything but clueless about our ecosystem both biologically and the planet when we first met at his new multifamily project: KAKTUSlife. His newest venture is reimagining luxury living for us millennials with sustainable, wellness, technology, and community driven efforts at the forefront.

But what makes KAKTUSlife special despite its luxurious balcony sliding-door features that extend your living for day and night hosting, the built-in Bluetooth connected to JennAir appliances, its resort-like vibe complete with a large pool, daybeds, and lounging amenities, hosting areas for friends or online dating app dates like the spacious rooftop lounge overlooking The Strip, perfectly designed large kitchen table, chic adjacent living room enclosed within sexy glass walls, its own private dentist, shopping, grooming, and dining on location, state-of-the-art gym and luxurious spa complete with a masseuse, is in a secluded area, affordable, and the mega-hefty welcome PR box of killer non-GMO snacks, eco-friendly cleaning products, and an Alexa Echo-Dot 3rd Gen as opposed to other developers?

Despite all of that, its IOTAS technology, and KAKTUSlife being the first to introduce and offer true modern sustainable luxury living in Las Vegas, it’s actually Tim Deters himself.  The KAKTUSlifestyle promotes sustainable living.

Deters and TRU Development are not just creating homes. They’re solving problems without compromising our needs, style, budgets, ethics, and the wellbeing of our planet. The visionaries and their socially conscious brands are the types of businesses we should all be supporting. Think how the demand for KAKTUSlife can affect future housing development and regulations in the very near future for all developers. Plus, the domino effect it would have. Believe in people, their vision, and purpose.

“There’s no Planet B. Am I right?” I joked with Deters. “Exactly,” he agrees.

I’ve never seen another person other than myself talk excitedly with dilated pupils about the future of residential accommodations, its positive impact on the planet, and people rediscovering their relationships with their own humanity, than when I met Deters. I can appreciate that, and him. And, I genuinely believe you should too.

Thanks to Deters and TRU Development, we all now know what’s possible. I now know that there are sustainable luxury companies filling my needs and matching my ethics. They also offer quite the open house experience. I have to gather up the old open-house crew for the upcoming weekend.

Preleasing for KAKTUSlife began February 19, 2019. They are currently accepting applications. I hear that KAKTUSlife is in-between the training facilities for the athletes in-town of whom may or may not be calling KAKTUSlife their home in the near future. It is going to become the new hotspot for millennials.
