Here’s What Farmers Market, The Grove, & Outfest Are Doing For Pride Month In Los Angeles

It’s kind of strange to think that we’re at that age where like our grandparents, we too are now freaking out whenever we here some ABBA performance is happening. The reason is because we’re having a major case of the nostalgies.

The people at the original Farmers Market, The Grove and Outfest are probably playing that same game. In case you’re wondering, no those flower nipple pasties won’t overpower your 70s bell-bottoms and whatever that men’s helmet haircut was (leave the appropriating afros behind please, kthx). You look gewwd, dancing queen.

On June 26th, 2018, the partner to bring the iconic songs of the band to The Original Farmers Market at Third & Fairfax in support of L.A.’s continuous ongoing Pride Month festivities.

Before you lose your dancing queen mind, boom shaka laka bam: the 2008 film Mamma Mia! will also be playing to commemorate the 36th annual Outfest Los Angeles film festival presented by HBO. If you’re not familiar with Outfest (not to be confused with Cardi B’s Offset) story, is the LA-based nonprofit promoting equality by creating, sharing, and protecting LGBTQ narratives on the big and small screen. The festival takes place across the city starting July 12-22.

The celebration begins at 6:30 pm and the film plays at 8:00 pm. Parking is free for 90 minutes with validation, available with a purchase from any Farmers Market merchant. One hour free parking is available in The Grove parking structure.
