Fourth of July is about great food and the best views for fireworks. Oh, and our countries independence from the British Empire but let’s not get into our country’s deets. Although I don’t encourage people to experience life through the lens of their smartphone camera, this is the one night for exceptions. Everyone loves a beautiful picture of fireworks. Especially one with an even better backdrop. So, the only way to get a shot that makes you scream, “MONEY!” is to have a great vantage point. And because this is Vegas, there’s a million of them. Here’s a round-up of some of the best views in Las Vegas.

1. Elation Pool

If you’re looking for an explosion of joy cha-ching, the Stratosphere is where you’ll get your money shot. High above The Strip and 108-floors up to be exact. The Stratosphere puts on one of the best firework shows in the city. The viewing takes place at their Elation Pool open at 9:15 p.m; doors open at 8 p.m. People will have the same idea as you. You don’t have to become a character from Street Fighter to secure a good spot, but try and get there early to secure a great spot.

2. Voodoo Steakhouse & Rooftop Nightclub At The Rio

You can’t go wrong with a steak dinner and a primetime seat to the extravaganza eleganza. Oh, and don’t forget about the champagne darling! That’s the most important part. Voodoo Steakhouse at Rio is hosting a dinner party on Saturday, June 30th at 7 p.m. that will have your tummy singing. Five savory courses, a terrace overlooking the Strip and fireworks right in front of you. This is an evening you hear about in the tabloids.

3. Beer Park at Paris Las Vegas

Imagine a perfect world where the Bellagio Fountains and fireworks are going off at the same time. Now open your eyes because Beer Park at Paris Las Vegas has that advantage. Wednesday, July 4, you can get your Independence Day on with their rooftop BBQ and fireworks show. Start charging your phone now. Can you imagine the footage you’d have for Instagram? You’d increase your following by 5,000 people and that alone is starting to bring tears to my eyes.

4. The High Roller

The High Roller is “lit” on the 4th of July, and we’re not talking about the lights on the side of the pod. The High Roller is the tallest observation wheel in the world, offering 360-degree views. When the fireworks go off, you’ll not only see them go off on The Strip, you’ll see them throughout the valley.

5. Commonwealth

Commonwealth is home to one of the coolest views in Downtown Las Vegas. Aside from their speakeasy vibe, the open rooftop has a bar and a view that stretches past the DTLV scene, over to the Fremont Experience, and on the up-and-up for the sky-high fireworks show coming from the Las Vegas Strip.
