It’s that time of the year to worship the sun by lounging at some of the most stunning and escaping hotel pools in your city. Don your best designer sunglasses, lather on your favorite oil, and order the most Instagram-worthy and booziest cocktails to sip, snap, and upload for later. Enjoy the sun at one of the four hotel pools below making it easy to unplug and lounge with no remorse and no hurry. Don’t forget to flip over.
1. Park MGM
MGM Resorts International’s new property Park MGM has one of the most stunning new pools to hit Las Vegas in a long time. It’s modeled after the sophisticated and elegant beaches of the South of France. It comfortably fits three people, and it’s only $100.
2. Dream Hotel
It’s challenging to find an oasis inspired hotel pool in a major city like New York. Dream Hotel conjures up this vibe superbly. The Beach is a 5,000 sq ft deck with 800 sq ft of imported sand, chaise lounges, two private cabanas available to rent, a DJ booth and a beautiful and cheeky glass-bottom swimming pool looking into the hotel lobby. The pool area is designed with the intention to mimic the famous beach resorts of Cote D’Azur (French Riviera) that later attracted jet-setting aristocrats and artists in the 1960s.
Editor's Note: Crowds 21 and over only after 12 p.m. Dream Beach & Pool Daily from 8AM - 11PM, 7 days a week (excluding private events). Pool Bar & Grill Daily from 8AM - 9PM, 7 days a week (excluding private events). Swimming is allowed until 8pm daily for all guests.
3. Mondrian South Beach
Mondrian South Beach is an excellent place to unplug and kiss. Designed by Marcel Wanders, the pool has secret pathways to “kissing gardens.” This hotel’s swimming pool deck is uniquely designed to embody a unique, intimate and relaxing atmosphere decorated with hammocks, kissing corners, and plush lounge pillows for comfort and all-day lounging.
Editor's Note: The pool deck is kid-friendly and includes a private children’s pool and sand toys for the entire family to enjoy.
4. Ace Hotel
Los Angeles’ designers are highly-recognized for their talent to turn rustic, vintage buildings into transporting spaces. The designers behind the Ace Hotel have been successful in doing the same. The pool area is heavenly situated atop the building and overlooking the breathtaking views of Downtown L.A. It’s no stranger to pool parties, pop-up shops, and the occasional yoga class, so make sure to check their calendar before making the trek.
