GIADA Celebrates Its Vegas Anniversary With A Dozen New Italian Dishes

It’s been four years since Giada De Laurentiis joined the Las Vegas foodie family with her restaurant GIADA at The Cromwell, and boy are we glad she stuck around. She’s served up delicious, drool-worthy food since day one, and she continues to do so even now.

And that’s not the only thing she has going for her. She has a personality that makes you want to be her best friend and won her an Emmy for Everyday Italian on the Food Network. As well as the best seat in the house when it comes to Las Vegas. Her restaurant, inside The Cromwell, has a stunning view of the Strip, and it’s diagonal from the famed Fountains at Bellagio. So while you’re stuffing your face with her tasty menu, you get a breathtaking view, and show, that puts the cherry on top.

But a new year means new menu items to celebrate. That’s why GIADA has introduced 12 new menu items that will bring a smile to your taste buds– if that’s even possible. In true and grand Italian-dining tradition, let’s start with the antipasti:

  • Charred octopus Panzanella with tomato, asparagus, and charred tomato vinaigrette.
  • Artichoke with lemon, pink peppercorn, and parmesan cheese.
  • Bruschetta crostini with white balsamic strawberry vinaigrette, burrata cheese, avocado, then topped with balsamic gastrique.
  • Summer Caprese salad made with buffalo mozzarella, shaved fennel, tomatoes, watermelon and white vinaigrette.

An Italian meal wouldn’t be complete without some pasta. It might not be winter, but that doesn’t mean you have to stop loading on carbs. Aim for that summer body next year. The pasta items include:

  • Cacio e Pepe bucatini served in a warm Pecorino Toscano wheel.
  • Fettuccine with sweet garlic scampi with heirloom tomato.
  • Cheese tortellini with four kinds of cheese with Parmesan emulsion.
