There’s only so many times you could buy your dad a pair of Hermes socks. His sock drawer is probably overflowing by now, and it’s time for you to change it up. There’s plenty of fine dining steakhouses in Las Vegas, but these are our top choices for Father’s Day.
1. Prime at Bellagio
Dinner and a free show? Tell me more. Prime at Bellagio takes you out to the patio where you’ll get a prime view of the famous Bellagio Fountains. This will make planning Father’s Day so much easier. Your dad is a simpler man than you think. Give him a 10 oz. porterhouse and a little flashy water show with a few bangs, and you’re all set. But, the fine selection of meats isn’t the only thing that will tickle your dads fancy. They have sides that will almost 1-up (kind of like Mario and Luigi) the main course like “Mashed Yukon” served with gold potatoes, broccoli jalapeno cheddar, creamed spinach and more.
2. Carnevino Italian Steakhouse at The Palazzo Las Vegas
Carnevino just sounds like a place where you’ll get your fair share of meat. This is the restaurant where the meat gets their own side of meat. Isn’t your mouth-watering after all the times I’ve said meat in the last couple sentences? I know mine is. Carnevino located inside The Palazzo takes your inner carnivore to a whole new level. Oh, and they have organic cuts of meat, so you know it’s legit. If you’re not doing organic, you’re not doing it right. Okurrt!
3. Bavette’s Steakhouse & Bar at Park MGM
Pizza isn’t the only thing Chicago gets right. They’re also really good with a dry aged steak. Bavette’s Steakhouse & Bar inside Park MGM is as classic as it gets when it comes to a steakhouse. Dark lighting, sophisticated business people and a staff that dresses up like they’re serving the people on the Titanic, not to mention crunchy, flaky bread that you’ll ask for twice.
4. Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas
When he’s not yelling at his kitchen staff, he’s cooking up a hearty menu that won’t disappoint. Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas gives you international flair, all while in Las Vegas. On top of that, Gordon is from London and adds a little British touch to the dishes that come out. And because there are all these elements, after dinner, you can take a stroll after to witness the international sights on the Las Vegas Strip. “I see London, I see France, I see your underpants.”
5. Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak at MGM Grand
At MGM Grand, the lion does all the hunting for you. And what his catch of the day at Craftsteak on Father’s Day? The juiciest, one of the most sophisticated tender pieces of meat you’ll find in Las Vegas. I mean common, what’s cooler than a lion hunting for your Father’s Day dinner? Yes, this hunting excursion may have happened in a dream I had last night, but its sounded cool and now you have a great story to tell your dad during dinner.
