Buddy Valastro is starting 2022 with a bang. The star of TLC’s hit Cake Boss will open The Boss Cafe by Buddy Valastro at The Linq Hotel + Experience in early 2022. Adding to the growing list of Buddy V’s restaurants, the cafe is inspired by the neighborhood delis and markets of New Jersey and New York, which Valastro grew up with.
The Boss Café by Buddy Valastro is the fourth restaurant concept to open in Las Vegas. “After successfully launching my first restaurant in Las Vegas, I completely fell in love with not only the city, but its culinary landscape and its people,” says Valastro. “I love being able to showcase the food I grew up with while launching my first casual restaurant in the town that gave me the opportunity to show that I’m more than just a baker, but a chef.”
The cafe features a variety of fresh-baked breads, Italian sandwiches, hand-crafted pizzas, a variety of sweets and pastries, and the highlight of the restaurant is the house-made fresh mozzarella bar. Need we say more?
Guests can grab their favorite fresh mozzarella creations served with warm rustic bread, choice of toppings from basil, pesto, roasted peppers, tomato-olive relish, fresh basil, and aged balsamic. The Mozz is made fresh daily by Valastro’s father-in-law.
The menu at the cafe will offer casual Italian-American fare created by Valastro alongside Executive Chef, Bryan Forgione. Forgione recently joined Valastro on the restaurant group side, before running the Buddy V’s Ristorante since opening in 2013.
The menu will feature House Salads including Pop’s Panzanella or the Hoboken Chop. A sandwich counter with classics like Rosemary Ham or Caprese served on fresh Jersey Focaccia or East Coast Hoagies like the Jersey Beef or the Valastro with smoked pancetta. And of course Grandma Squares, the coolest square this side of Jersey, includes Margherita, Pepperoni, or the Boss Supreme.
Staying true to Buddy’s baking roots, The Boss Café will also boast an impressive dessert selection and all-time favorites made famous by Carlo’s Bakery such as the world-famous Lobster Tail Pastry, Tiramisu, Cheesecake, Cannoli, assorted cakes, and fresh-baked cookies.
The Boss Café by Buddy Valastro will be located at The LINQ Hotel + Experience.
