Vidanta Vallarta To Host First PGA Tournament On Pacific Coast of Mexico

Groupo Vidanta is making history by hosting the first PGA Tournament on the Pacific coast of Mexico and is staying true to their commitment to the progress and growth within Mexico. The leading luxury tourism and golf course developer in Latin America will host the PGA Tour for the Mexico Open starting April 25, 2022 to May 1, 2022 at Vidanta Vallarta, the spectacular and innovative resort, located on Banderas Bay which is home to their golf course.

The tournament will feature important international golfers, including Carlos Ortiz, the first Mexican to win during the PGA Tour since 1978. He is also a Vidanta Resorts ambassador and has been a major player in both the national and international world of golf. Ortiz has helped promote Mexico as a potential host for international golf events.
