The extent and magnitude of JAY-Z’s business savviness often go unrecognized by the media, thus little of his entrepreneurial endeavors are known to the general public. He and Roc Nation are continuously changing that narrative with projects like his new company ARRIVE, which launced in 2017.
ARRIVE is partnering with a select group of existing and early-stage startups for business aid. The new platform provides said group with new company services like branding, business development, advisory and capital drive growth.
“ARRIVE was created to leverage our experience and resources in building brands, developing consumer-facing businesses, managing artists and representing athletes. We’ve opened that diversified, global range of expertise to a new vertical: entrepreneurs and their early stage businesses,” said Neil Sirni, head of new ventures at Roc Nation.
The company’s collaboration with Primary Venture Partners and GlassBridge Asset Management shows the commitment of ARRIVE to its roster of clients and their success. Primary serves as a venture advisors while GlassBridge provides institutional and operational support.
“What Roc Nation has built so far is a true testament to their vision, capabilities, and willingness to dig in and take their companies to the next level. We are thrilled to partner with the amazing team at ARRIVE and to leverage these unique resources to build the next generation of powerful brands,” said Ben Sun, co-founder and general partner of Primary Venture Partners.
To help these startups with their growth stages, ARRIVE aims to also launch a traditional venture fund.
