For the culture! If this doesn’t motivate you to step your game up, I don’t know what will. Tracee Ellis Ross looks from last nights AMAs were made possible by 10 black designers and it was the most heartfelt moment for me from the entire show. This is such a great message to send that your people will always lift you up so long as you make that first step to create. Ross is everything we need in an awards show host and more. Don’t even @ me!

Her first look was a “power suit,” as Ross called it. It was designed by Pyer Moss.

Ross’ second look consisted of a Gucci cape designed by the legendary street style designer Dapper Dan.

Her third look at the AMAs was a floor-length gold sequin dress designed by GOLDEN GIRL.

Ross paired her “I am a voter” t-shirt with a red ball gown skirt by Shanel Campbell.

The champagne foam-colored tulle gown was created by Off White.

Her leopard bodysuit was designed by Sergio Hudson.

That gorgeous print red gown with the mermaid tail was designed by LAVIE By CK.

And of course she shut it down with Balmain by Olivier Rousteing.

Her electric blue suit, earrings, and brooch were all designed by DÈSHON.

Ross ended the night with a red bell-bottom, off the shoulder, red jumpsuit by CUSHNIE.

Question: Which look was your favorite?
