3 Drag Queen Beauty Brands to Add to Your Makeup Bag

Successful reality competition TV series like Rupaul’s Drag Race has exposed drag, albeit a small part of it, to the world. With 13 successful seasons to the original series including a multitude of spinoffs and international adaptations, Drag Race has introduced drag queens into mainstream media that are now changing the beauty game.

When looking at these drag queens who have gone through the competition, it’s justifiable to look at these queens for beauty tips and tricks. Many of them are professional makeup artists and have worked in the beauty industry in some capacity. Whether it be for a beauty conglomerate or being a personal makeup artist to celebrities, these queens know makeup.

Many queens collaborate with major beauty brands for product campaigns or even release their own collections. Some have taken it a step further by starting their own brands. With more queens jumping into the cosmetic world, here are 3 beauty brands by Rupaul’s Drag Race alumni that are perfect for any makeup bag!

The epitome of glamour, the definition of being a brand, there’s Miss Fame Beauty. Even during her time on season 7 of the Drag Race, Miss Fame was conscious of her brand and wanting to be more than being a nightlife performer.

Her brand being glamour and beauty, Fame launching a cosmetics company only makes sense. Outside of its glamour, the beauty brand is proactive in being a clean brand. Certified by PETA, the brand is cruelty-free and also is free of paraben and gluten. Her products rival that of high-end pro brands in terms of quality and aesthetic. A personal recommendation for a product from this brand is its glitter. Perfect for lips, face, and body, the glitter can add a pop to the final look.
